the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle,
mount to the sky,
So up to the housetop
the coursers they flew,
With a sleigh full of toys,
and St. Nicholas too.
Scene 11
“Down the chimney St. Nicholas came”

And then, in a twinkling,
I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing
of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head,
and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas
came with a bound.

“He was dressed all in fur”

from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished
with ashes and soot;
A bundle of toys
he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler
just opening his pack.

Had this one. Would of been amazing if they would of done a stop motion film with these figures and sets like what was done with Rudolph.
Like the blue light effect on scene 10.
The people who created these miniatures were great artists.
They sure were! This one in particular was one of their best. From set design to the expressions on the faces of the clay figures, it was all top notch.
My favorite of all time. This made my day to see it again. Thank you, thank you!
I'm 59 now, and looking at these pictures again was awesome! As a kid I always looked at "The Night Before Christmas" around this time of year.
